Period: Summer Exposure: East Altitude: 1800m
Access: Reach Rif. Gilberti from Sella Nevea via CAI trail 635 or by cable car. From the refuge, descend along trail 635 until the intersection with the botanical trail to reach the Geriatria sector (5 min from the refuge). For the south face, instead, ascend the botanical trail towards Sella Bila Pec (10 min from the refuge). The Cueva sector is just beyond Geriatria, while for Sanatorio and Manicomio you need to take a via ferrata which leads to the first sector in 5 min and to the last in 10 min. (see map)
