Beal back up line

The BACK UP LINE rope was specifically designed as a retrieval or abseiling cord. Compact and thin, its sheath is rough to ensure a perfect grip and easy control in all circumstances.

The aramid and polyamide used in the construction of this rope make it ultra-light: only 21 g/m. But also ultra-static. As the BACK UP LINE does not absorb energy at all, it should not be used for belaying, progression, or any situation requiring dynamic characteristics.
