Falesia Rio Secco in Val Saisera, arrampicata sportiva con esposizione SE a 950m di quota

The Rio Secco crag is located at an altitude of 950 meters with a southeast exposure, offering ideal conditions from spring to autumn, with the rock drying quickly after rain. The wall offers 12 climbing routes with difficulties ranging from 5c to 6c, making it suitable for intermediate climbers. The approach from the parking lot is only 10-15 minutes, following a pleasant mule track in the woods along the Rio Secco. A perfect crag for a half-day of climbing immersed in the untouched nature of the Julian Alps.

Access: From Valbruna, continue into Val Saisera. Before reaching the Jof di Montasio inn, park on the right in a clearing just after the bridge over Rio Secco. Follow the mule track that goes into the woods. As soon as it becomes a path, turn right towards the stream (cairn), cross it and follow its bank. The crag is on the right. 10-15 min from the parking lot.
