Access: Reach Rif. Gilberti from Sella Nevea via CAI path 635 or by cable car. From the refuge, descend along path 635 until the intersection with the botanical path to reach the Geriatria sector (5 min from the refuge). For the south face, however, go up the botanical path towards Sella Bila Pec (10 min from the refuge). The Cueva sector is just beyond Geriatria, while for Sanatorio and Manicomio, you need to take a via ferrata that leads to the first sector in 5 min and the last in 10 min. (see map)
